Right to be housed, or right to housing.

As a society we have an obligation to look after those  that are not in the position to help themselves. Whether this is for economic reasons, mental health or a ability,  physical limitations or because of substance abuse.

Many will say when it comes to housing, everyone has the right to a roof over their head. Or, is it everyone has the right to access housing?

Does a child leaving home have a right to be supplied with another home at taxpayers expense?

Does a person who is homeless and addicted to drugs have a right to a home without the necessary supports to help them recover?

These questions cannot be answered without a lengthy discussion.
